Brooke W. Brestel

FOUNDING PARTNER

After working in advertising in New York for six years, Brooke Brestel decided to pursue a career specifically in elder law to make a difference in the lives of older adults, adults with disabilities, and their families.

Almost a decade since making that decision, Brooke has successfully dedicated her career to helping individuals and families through the various chapters of their respective stories.

Brooke’s practice focuses on Colorado guardianships and conservatorships, ensuring that those in vulnerable positions are protected, but retain as much independence and autonomy as possible and appropriate. She also skillfully advises fiduciaries – both agents and court-appointed – so they can rest assured their fiduciary duties are met and those depending on them are treated with respect and equity in both contested and uncontested matters.

As a probate litigator, Brooke also brings a unique approach to estate planning, as she can foresee potential conflicts and propose solutions years in advance.

While she is a tireless advocate, her clients most appreciate her sense of humor, down-to-earth personality, and ability to explain and convey complex legal matters in a way that allows her clients to feel confident in the decisions they make.

A Lincoln, Nebraska native, daughter of a football coach, and life-long Cornhusker fan; she can easily diagram the triple-option, has a killer homemade Runza recipe, and thinks the only thing that can rival the Colorado Rocky Mountains is a fall Saturday in Memorial Stadium.
